About us
The Family's Remote are a three peice from England, France and Germany. The music they make echoes some of the best of the 80 s 'Shoegazer' period of British Indie, when bands like the Cure, Ride and Spacemen 3 were making noisy guitars cool. These bands all played on stage without dancing or moving around much so 'Shoegazers' became the description. TFR will not thrill you with their dance moves, but will draw you into a world of stories about lovely girls and what they do, about how they fuck you up and how it makes you feel, about dark and light wrapped in harmonies and dischords...Alan plays guitar and sings
